Why MK Vektor

A scaffold has to be dependable. MK Vektor is.

That is why we work with experienced in-house staff, certified system material and documentation that stands up to any inspection.

  • Safety is not negotiable

Erected to SUVA rules and the Swiss Construction Work Ordinance. Every scaffold is inspected before release and tagged with a scaffold certificate.

  • Dates that hold

Fixed erection windows instead of vague promises. When it gets tight we will work Saturdays too — by arrangement.

  • One point of contact

The same person from site visit to final invoice. No transfers, no questions disappearing into a void.

  • At home in north-western Switzerland

Our yard is in Giebenach. From there we reach you quickly in both directions: Basel and Baselland just as easily as the Fricktal and the Aargau.

How it works

From enquiry to dismantling

Four clear steps. You always know what happens next.

  1. Enquiry & advice

Tell us about the project — by phone or through the form. We come back to you within one working day.

  2. Survey & quote

We visit the site, clarify access and anchoring, and deliver a binding quote within 48 hours.

  3. Erection

Delivery and erection within the agreed window. After inspection you receive the scaffold certificate and release.

  4. Dismantling & checks

Regular inspections throughout the hire period, then a clean strip-down and tidy handover of the ground.

Safety & quality

Every scaffold is inspected before anyone steps on it.

We carry out regular inspection rounds.

  • SUVA guidelines
  • Construction Work Ordinance BauAV
  • SIA 118
  • Scaffold certificate
  • Weekly inspection rounds
  • Inspection before release

No scaffold goes into service until a safety officer has checked it and released it in writing.

  • Complete documentation

Anchor records, load class and inspection rounds — filed digitally and available at any time.

  • Instructed erectors

All our erectors are trained for work at height and work under experienced lead erectors and site managers.

Frequently asked

What clients ask us most often

How quickly can you put up a scaffold?

For standard facade scaffolding within our catchment area we normally plan ten to fourteen working days from order. In emergencies — after storm damage, for example — we usually find a solution within 48 hours. In that case, call us directly.

What does a scaffold cost?

The price depends on scaffold area, hire period, height, accessibility and any additional components such as brackets or safety netting. That is why we quote after a site visit rather than from a price list. The quote is free and without obligation.

Which area do you cover?

All of north-western Switzerland: Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft, the Fricktal and neighbouring municipalities in cantons Aargau and Solothurn. For larger projects we travel further.

How experienced are your people?

Our lead erectors bring over 20 years of scaffolding experience and have worked for leading scaffolding contractors in north-western Switzerland. Our site managers and safety officers have already delivered more than 1,000 small and large projects.

Is your scaffolding SUVA-compliant?

Yes. We erect only certified system material according to the manufacturer's instructions and the requirements of the Construction Work Ordinance. Every scaffold is inspected before handover and receives a scaffold certificate showing load class and release date.

Who is liable during the hire period?

We are liable for correct erection and for the contractually agreed condition. Only we may alter the scaffold — if a component is removed without our involvement, the release lapses. Please report damage immediately; we are usually on site the same day.
